South African fast-food restaurant Nando's met the conditions comic ultimatum, issued by the insurance company Santam for a parody of the ad
Santam Insurance Company issued in February 2012 commercial with actor Ben Kingsley (Ben Kingsley). The video Kingsley, standing at the bar, explains how easy it is to miss some important provisions in the contract. For greater clarity, he asks viewers to question whether they have noticed that the waiter's uniform, standing behind the bar, changed four times in the movie.

In April 2012 Nando's took a parody movie, with the repetition of music, monologue and surroundings - with the only difference being that the protagonist was not talking about the movie contract, and a menu of Nando's, and the waiter did not change shape, and the dishes on a rack.

In the comic response Santam said it is ready to turn a blind eye to the use of commercial parodies, if Nando's ultimatum to execute it. By 4 pm the Thursday (April 26), the restaurant was supposed to deliver a children's home in Johannesburg 62 servings of chicken breast with potato fries and salads, 12 children's meals with toys, 74 pudding hot, 74 cold drinks and Portuguese salad. In fulfillment of the conditions has been given an ultimatum restaurant one day.

As a result, Nando's said that he not only fulfilled the conditions of the ultimatum and brought lunch on Thursday, but brought the same portion of lunch and the next day. The company also said it will bring to the orphanage for lunch made by Santam order every last Friday of the month throughout the year.

Nando's company was in the center of a scandal in November 2011, when the advertising took off Christmas memories of Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe's friendship with the other dictators. Youth organization of the ruling party in Zimbabwe, ZANU-PF urged to boycott Nando's. Within a week, restaurant chain has decided to withdraw the advertisement because of the negative reactions of Zimbabwe and threats against staff.
